Interpreting the oldest section of RHS Garden Wisley, these panels were designed to reflect and celebrate the old and the new.
Focusing on the original plantings with larger graphic panels, situated in oak framework and powder coated stands, these delve into the history of Oakwood and its original owner. The graphic panels were designed to have an old, illustrative style to them (using images and scans from the RHS Lindley Library Collection) whilst still looking modern and contemporary.
With complementary smaller panels to highlight the new, modern plantings, a similar cohesive style was produced with cut lettering that intertwines the first word in each plant name. To tie the two styles together, logos were developed in two different styles to reflect the old and new.
